15/10/2009 - Youth Praise Update

Dave Newton and some of his team from Youth For Christ will be heading down the M6 to be with us on Saturday night October 17 from 7pm. They will be bringing the Word and sharing some of the good stuff that God's been doing with young people right here in the UK.

Our other guests will be junior dance group "Purpose" based at Bethel Lighthouse which has been a champion of performing arts among young people in the area, running projects for both churched and unchurched young people.

There is no admission charge for this event we just want to bless young people with words of wisdom from the Bible and create an avenue for them to encourage each other in interactive worship, testimonies, games and a bit of drama thrown in the mix.

Everyone is welcome at this event organised by Top Score with the help of teenagers.

There's only a few days to go, but keep plugging it among your mates and youth groups. See you there. Green Lane Baptist Church, off A34 Green Lane, Walsall WS2 8NX.

19/12/2008 - Helping Our Community

On Monday 15th December we hosted a team from The Vine Trust, Walsall, who work with "Steps to Work", an agency helping the long-term unemployed back into work. We hope to do this again so that there is a regular and local contact point for people in the Birchills area.
